Neapolitan pizza maker for one day

Happy Birthday AVPN!

On the occasion of its 40th Birthday, AVPN is organizing Napolitan Pizza Maker for a Day 40th, 4 days of authentic masterclasses dedicated to lovers of the TRUE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA.

Participants will celebrate together with the Pizza Masters this unique event, preparing with them the "True Neapolitan Pizza" in all its phases, from kneading to baking, from seasoning to tasting the pizza made with their own hands. It will be an exciting journey through the history and culture of True Neapolitan pizza, which aims to give participants the experience of being a pizza maker for a day.

The day is structured as follows:
  • Welcome Coffee and History of True Neapolitan Pizza
  • Demonstration and subsequent preparation by participants of the kneading of the true Neapolitan pizza and the raw materials
  • Stretching and baking of the Neapolitan pizza in the wood-fired oven
  • Tasting of the true Neapolitan pizza by the slice

Napolitan Pizza Maker for a Day 40th will take place on June 29th and 30th, July 1st and 2nd from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00 (the last one exclusively for children) at the AVPN SCHOOL in Naples, which will welcome the first 40 registered for only 40 €.

Given the limited number of participants, we invite those who want to experience this unmissable opportunity to register immediately!

The fee includes non-alcoholic beverages, apron, registration in the "Friends of True Neapolitan Pizza" club with its respective card, and souvenir certificate.

Due to the proximity to the oven, closed-toe shoes are recommended.

The workshop is conducted in Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

A journey inside the Neapolitan Pizza

The workshop is held in the school of the Verace Neapolitan Pizza Association and involves the preparation of pizza with the help of an instructor of the Association that will lead the participants on this interactive journey.

We will leave the civil garments to become pizza chefs with a personalized apron designed for the occasion, we will talk about the "ideal" products, we will prepare the dough by hands to be able to understand the right consistency, will roll the dough on the counter of pizzaiolo and, after having covered it with tomato, Campana buffalo mozzarella, basil and olive oil, the participants will be ready to bake it according to tradition in the old wood-fired pizza oven.
Finally, everyone will eat the result of their work, pizza a portafglio (folded in four).

For the last hour you will enjoy a moment of conviviality as the Neapolitans love, at the table in front of traditional Neapolitan pizzas signed by our instructors.
